CANTON -- Members of the St. Lawrence University Squash Team will host a fundraiser from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Robie Squash Courts located adjacent the Augsbury Physical Education Center, Park Street.
Proceeds support the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Emergency Room.
The "Play It Forward" event, which is supported by the St. Lawrence’s student government Thelomathesian Society, will feature a squash tournament and raffle along with music and free food. There will be a $3 entry fee to participate in the squash tournament, which will feature men’s and women’s draws. Email zakaga13@stlawu.edu to sign up.
For those who do not wish to play but still want to join the fun and activities, there will be $1 entry fee for to the raffle. More than $6,000 worth of merchandise has been donated. T-shirts will also be on sale.
