Canton Little River Community School to host 9th annual online auction beginning March 1

CANTON — Little River Community School will host its 9th annual online auction from March 1 through March 15.

Local businesses and friends donated over one hundred items, services, and gift certificates to the auction. All sales will benefit the Little River Community School.

Featured items include: a bottle of wine from 1844 House; an Irwin Wrench set from Triple A Lumber and Building Supply; one pound of coffee, two ceramic mugs, and a ceramic bowl from the Ashley House; a box of vegetables from Birdsfoot Farm each week in July; a 30 minute animal massage and an animal acupuncture treatment at Canton Animal Clinic; an adjustable swing donated by Chuck Bolesh, Sr.; a painting of Little River Community School by Dennis Morreale; an acupuncture treatment at Five Elements Living; an end table made by From the Heart Cabinetry; a hydro massage and a spray tan from Glow Spa; apple and lavender body cream from A Wholesome Glow; three hours of house repair or yard work by SLU’s Habit for Humanity club; an evening of free babysitting and three hours of yard work by SLU’s HOPE (Helping Out People Everywhere) club; silk microderm abrasion treatments with Dr. Jay Schechter; homemade soap and a 1 hour therapeutic massage by Jean Williams-Bergen; Zumba package from June Peoples; basket of baked goods from SLU’s Kappa Delta Sigma; hardwood cutting board by Kathleen Buckley; large glass tea jug from Kinney Drugs; and homemade dinner for two and three free Baila dance lessons from SLU’s La Casa Latina;

Other items include a quilted pillow sewn by Lisa Cullen; tool set from Lowe’s; 4 half hour math tutoring sessions, an aluminum bracelet, a copper bracelet, and a stainless steel bracelet from Maegan Bos; candle lamp from Misty Hollow; package of six Capoeira lessons from North Country Capoeira; gift basket from NCPR; 8 1 lb. packages of coffee from Partridge Café; local turkey and chicken from Paul’s Pastured Poultry; 4 online classes in holistic health by Paula Youmell; large pizza from Pizza Hut; monthly loaf of bread for one year from Potsdam Consumer Co-Op; two 40 lb. bags of bird seed; 3 hours of math or science tutoring from SLU’s Pre-Health Club; 5 lunches from Purple Rice; dozen wings from Raquette River Pub; two pair of movie tickets from Roxy/American Theaters; 1 year membership to St. Lawrence Arts Council; 1 month membership at the St. Lawrence Fitness Center; 3 month fitness center membership to SUNY Canton; ceramic mug from TAUNY; $1000 discount on concrete work from Thornwood Construction; a lift ticket for the 2016-2017 ski season to Titus Mountain; complete car detailing from TJ Toyota; 36 X 24 inch poster printing by UPS Store; 1 hour therapeutic massage by Valerie Summer; basket of nail care products by Jamberry from Verena Jones; and 1 hour swim lesson from Victoria Lederer.
