CANTON -- Canton High School’s production of Stardust by Walter Kerr will be held Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
This comedic play stars the students of a dramatic academy in the 1970s. They are anxiously awaiting the famous Broadway star (Margaret Doty) who will guest star in one of their plays. The students are all trying to "live" their art through Method acting.
Their director (Katja Schmid-Doyle) is very conscious that she studied under Stanislavsky and reminds the students of this fact at every opportunity.
Into this madhouse comes the famous actress, her fiancé (Bridger Royce) and a Hollywood agent (Eric Gagliardi) determined to find a leading lady for his next movie.
Tickets are available at the door and cost $8 for adults and $5 for students/seniors.
