HEUVELTON -- The Canton Goldenaires will perform at Heuvelton Central School from 7 to 8 p.m. at Dec. 11 in the Poulton auditorium.
This barbershop group will donate their time and talents to entertain all who attend.
There is no entrance fee but donations will be accepted at the door.
All donations will go towards the Heuvelton Alumni Association, who will in turn use the funds to support their “Best Idea Awards.”
The “Best Ideas Awards” fund creative educational projects for the Pre-K through 12th grade programs in the Heuvelton District. The “Best Ideas Awards” stands for: Bringing, Excellent, Student and Teacher Ideas to HCS.
The Canton Goldenaires have been singing four-part harmonies for fifty years now. Membership in this Barbershop group includes two Heuvelton Alums (Chris Riordan and Richard Todd) and 6th Grade HCS Teacher, Mr. John Liquori. In addition to songs from the Goldenaires, the Barbershop Quartet “Impromptu” will also be offering a highly entertaining comedy act while singing for your pleasure. Please join the Goldenaires for a great night of entertainment that will benefit the teachers and students of HCS.
