CANTON -- Canton Free Library will show two movies at a “Thursday Theater” day Feb. 28.
At 10 a.m. the library will show a film that follows a young woman who brings her fiancé, an African American doctor, home to her parents in California during the 1960s.
At 3 p.m. the library will show an animated fairy-tale set in jazz era New Orleans. The story follows a young princess named Tiana and her fateful kiss with a frog prince.
Donations of non-perishable food items or winter clothing will be accepted and shared with local charities.
