NORFOLK -- 21st District Congressional candidate Tedra Cobb of Canton is inviting St. Lawrence County residents to a “Get Out the Vote Open House” Thursday, June 21.

The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Norfolk home of Beth Gero, 5 South St. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served.

“We have been working hard to build relationships across the district, talking about the issues that matter to constituents of NY-21,” Cobb said in a prepared statement. “As we work toward the primary, it is important to me to hear from people in our part of the district about what matters to them and to remind them to get out and vote on primary day.”

Cobb has lived in the district for more than 30 years. Her campaign says she has worked in local, regional, and statewide government, healthcare, education, and community service. She is a two-term St. Lawrence County legislator.

“I am delighted to welcome Tedra and her supporters to our home,” Gero said in the event announcement. “My work in healthcare and tobacco cessation has brought me face to face with issues that Tedra knows and understands. As we head into Election Day I appreciate the chance to visit with other supporters and talk with Tedra about these issues matter so much to us here in the North Country.

Cobb is one of five Democratic candidates in the June 26 primary, who hope to defeat Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. The other four candidates are Emily Martz of Saranac Lake, Katie Wilson of Keene, Patrick Nelson of Stillwater, and Dylan Ratigan of Saranac Lake.
