CANTON -- The Canton Central School District will hold a hearing on its 2014-2015 budget on May 8 at 7 p.m. in the Hugh C. Williams High School learning resource center.
The vote will be May 20 from noon to 9 p.m. Voters will decide whether or not to pass the new spending plan, a school bus proposition and pick new Board of Education members.
Voters must be at least 18 years old on election day, a U.S. citizen and reside in the school district for at least 30 days prior to the vote.
Absentee ballot applications can be picked up at the district office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except holidays.
Applications must be received at least seven days prior to election day and be returned no later than 5 p.m. on election day.
