POTSDAM -- Canton author Chris Angus will discuss and sign copies of his new thrillers, The Last Titanic Story and Flypaper on Saturday, June 16 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at The University Bookstore, 39 Market St.
Angus is author of “Oswegatchie: A North Country River,” “Reflections from Canoe Country” and “The Extraordinary Adirondack Journey of Clarence Petty: Wilderness Guide, Pilot and Conservationist.”
A writer of fiction for over 30 years, this spring Angus has published three new historical thrillers. “The Last Titanic Story” connects the sinking of the Titanic with a World War II German U-boat transporting a fabulous stolen treasure.
“Flypaper” is a scientific medical thriller about a pandemic in China that threatens the entire world.
His third novel, “London Underground,” will be out in late June and is currently being considered by Hollywood. The thriller includes a disease called the “Sweat” from the time of King Henry VIII, the contents of a looted Spanish galleon and genetically altered super-rats that threaten to invade London and the British Isles.
