CANTON -- Two Canton area organizations will be holding quilting classes in the next few days.
Classes will be offered at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm, 2043 B State Hwy #68. The first workshop will be Oct. 20 or Oct. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mardee Cooke will lead both workshops. The first quilt will feature a crow atop a pile of pumpkins.
Admission is $15. The second workshop will be a two day workshop Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 or Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature a floral quilt. Admission is $20. Bring a bag lunch. To register call 379-9192.
Borderline Quilters will also host quilting class titled “Fat Quarter Quilt Class” Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Miner Street. Jill Josephs will instruct. The class is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. For information and a supply list call Debbie at 265-2717.
