CANTON -- Activists from Canton are planning to attend the Citizens’ Climate Lobby’s fifth Northeast Regional Conference on March 16-18 at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass.
The conference is designed for both new and experienced citizens who want to address climate change.
CantonCCL invites members of the community to join them.
Conference workshop topics include understanding the basics of the carbon fee and dividend, how to work with allies who have different goals, transitioning to renewable energy, updates on state carbon pricing, and more.
There will also be information tables, a climate story art exhibit, evening performances, cash bar options, networking opportunities, and an electric vehicle (EV) exhibit.

Regular registration is $85 and student admission is $25.
