CANTON -- A dialogue on past and ongoing PCB exposures at Akwesasne and in St. Lawrence County has been announced by environmental activist Donald Hassig at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the second-floor conference room at the St. Lawrence County Human Services Building, State Route 310.

Hassig says the dialogue will include members of the St. Lawrence County Board of Health.

Hassig, an announced candidate for Congress seeking the Green Party nomination, has long been an advocate of educating people about the detrimental effects of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in the food chain, including PCB, on human health.
