POTSDAM -- Canadian author Dr. Gerasimos Kambites will speak about his time as a medical missionary in Uganda in the 1980’s following the dictatorship of Idi Amin, documented in his book Tears on the Equator.
The lecture is at 7:30 p.m. March 12 in Wakefield Hall at the Crane School of Music. Kambites has been a journalist for United Press International, has written for National Geographic, produced a documentary for the CBC and was the videographer for the Transworld Snowmobile Expedition.
