OGDENSBURG – A round-trip bus tour will soon take St. Lawrence County residents to view the 25th anniversary production of Boublil & Schnberg’s legendary musical, “Les Miserables.”

The show features glorious new staging and dazzlingly re-imagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo.

North Country Insurance Professionals is offering the public the chance to see the Broadway production on Saturday, Feb. 25. A luxurious S & W Tour coach bus will leave the Donut King Restaurant parking lot at 9:45 a.m., arriving at Borio’s on the Lake Restaurant for lunch. Then the group will be off to Crouse Hinds Theater for the 2 p.m. matinee.

The bus will arrive back at Donut King about 7 p.m.

Cost is $125 and includes round-trip transportation, lunch and theater ticket.

Call Robin Miller at 323-0282 or Stella Nelson at 393-7662 to reserve a seat.

The New York Times calls this “Les Miserables” an “unquestionably spectacular production from start to finish.” The London Times hails the new show “a five-star hit, astonishingly powerful.” The Star-Ledger says "a dynamically re-imagined hit.”

Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, “Les Miserables” is an epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit. The score includes the classic songs “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Stars,” “Bring Him Home,” “Do You Hear the People Sing?” “One Day More,” “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables,” “Master Of The House” and many more.
