HAMMOND -- There will be a "Bridal Idol Events Showcase" on June 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bella-Brooke Vineyard on Black Lake Road.
Engaged couples will compete for prize packages valued around $1,000.
There will be competitions of singing, dancing or a combination. The bride, the groom, both or the couple with their wedding party may compete.
Vendors from the wedding/special events industry will be on-hand.
Participants must have pre-registered by May 1.
