MASSENA -- Massena Memorial Hospital is offering a class for pregnant women who are interested in learning more about breastfeeding.
The class will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 2 in MMH's Community Education Room.
The classes are taught by certified child birth educator Snow Harper-Moulton.
She will discuss benefits of breastfeeding for both mom and baby, what to expect in the first days, breastfeeding basics (latch, positioning, how often, how long, etc.) and avoiding and overcoming common challenges
Participants should bring bring a pillow and a teddy bear or doll.
Dads can also join.
