POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Farmers' Market and GardenShare will host a “Brain Food Fest” with trivia and live music Saturday, Aug. 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. near Ives' Park.
Live music by local artists Church & State and Dan Sullivan-Catlin will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
A memory game and brain teasers will be held for kids, with prizes for the winners.
“Cabbage bowling” will be offered, along with trivia games for adults. Correct answers will earn a chance to win a basket of farmers’ market goods.
As part of the "First Saturday" activities local college students can take a tour of the market to obtain a passport sticker.
The Potsdam Co-op will have wraps and salads for sale, with the Marine Corp Chuck Wagon offering breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs, Italian sausage, and cheeseburgers.
Wine and food tastings will also be offered.
