CANTON - Celebrate Brain Awareness Week with St. Lawrence University's fourth annual Brain Blast Friday, March 23, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Johnson Hall of Science on campus. It is open to the public, free of charge, and has fun, interactive exhibitions that are aimed at all ages.
Brain Blast features students and faculty leading hands-on and interactive exhibits that highlight the wide variety of neuroscience research being conducted at St. Lawrence, to teach individuals of all ages about brain function.
The goals of Brain Blast are to increase public awareness of the benefits and progress of brain research and to inspire and excite the neuroscientists of tomorrow.
Activities include demonstrations on memory, pain, sensation/perception, concussions and much more.
