OGDENSBURG --The inaugural Volunteer Transportation Center No Tap Bowling Tournament is set for Sunday, Nov. 4 at the Ogdensburg Bowling Alley, 1121 Patterson St.

The Volunteer Transportation Center St. Lawrence County Advisory Council is raising funds to support volunteer transportation programs serving the local area.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m and bowling begins at 1 p.m. Pre-registration is available at www.VolunteerTransportationCenter.org or by calling Christine at (315) 714-2034. Registration of a four-person team from your organization, friends, family or your regular bowling league, is $100 per team or $25 per bowler for three games of bowling, shoes and pizza.

The Volunteer Transportation Center provides transportation to neighbors who otherwise would not have access to critical appointments and life sustaining services such as renal dialysis and cancer treatment. In 2017 volunteer drivers provided 7,349 one-way charitable trips covering 232,251 miles in St. Lawrence County alone.
