BRASHER FALLS – Local author Lisa Lamondie-Grenville will give readings and signings of her new children’s book “The Princessipal” at various libraries around the county over the next few weeks.

The author, currently a SUNY Potsdam instructor but formerly an administrator at St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES and Brasher Falls Central, will be at the Badenhausen Branch of the Massena Public Library in Brasher Falls on May 24, from 1-7 p.m.

Two other signings follow, at the Massena Public Library, June 3, from 2-4 p.m. and at the Potsdam Public Library, June 10, from 2-4.

The book tells the story of a school principal who enchants her students with magic. She turns into a “Princessipal” and with her magic wand transforms the school into a castle. During the course of the story, the children, now little princes and princesses, learn that they too know magic.
