CANTON -- The Canton Free Library, 8 Park St., will host a book, bake and craft sale on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the libraries lower level.
There will be pies, cookies, breads and candy for sales long with books and vendors.
Vendors expected include Judith Utter who does watercolors of natural science nature; Raquette River Gift Co. who offer gourmet gift baskets and local gourmet food; jewelry by Donna Schaab; Christina Adams if Blue Frenzy wearable art; Krista Weber with fabric jewelry and decorations; Ann Bennett will sell gift baskets of herb mixes and crafts and wreaths; Cynthia Ayer will offer mittens, Christmas stockings and other sewn items; Joann Roberts will sell roasted nuts and candies; Nola Davey will offer soaps, lip balms and hand creams and Mary Ann Owen of Winged Camel Metalworks will sell jewelry and metalwork.
The Friends' McCarthy's Cookbook and raffle tickets for holiday baskets will be sold.
