POTSDAM -- The National Marrow Donor Program is coming to Potsdam for two bone marrow drives.
Clarkson University hosts a drive from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 11 in the Student Center Multipurpose Rooms.
SUNY Potsdam will be hosting a drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 12 in the Barrington Student Union Fireside Lounge.
All that is required for the screening is a swab of the cheek to be entered into the bone marrow registry and become a potential donor for a life-saving transplant.
Anyone between the ages of 18 and 44 is welcome to participate; some health restrictions do apply. The event is free of charge, but donations are welcome.
