CANTON -- The second Bob Law Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Hospice and Palliative Care of St Lawrence Valley will be held on Saturday, July 25.

Golfer start at 9 a.m. at Partridge Run Golf and Country Club, 70 Sullivan Dr.

The format will be a four-person scramble including a $10,000 hole-in-one, golf cart hole in one, closest to pin, and longest drive contests plus a par 5 lotto, 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

The first place team will receive a champion flag and $200 cash. The second place team will receive $200 cash.

The cost is $75 per person or $300 per team. The fee includes morning coffee and pastries, a hotdog lunch, and a BBQ dinner. Registration starts at 8 a.m.

Bob and his family were recipients of Hospice's 24 hour services during his battle with primary liver cancer which was attributed to his exposure to Agent Orange during his Army service in Vietnam. Bob lost his fight with cancer in October, 2013. His family says they want to show their appreciation to Hospice with a fundraiser.

For more information, register, donate to the auction, or sponsor, contact Kelly Hitchman at 265-3105, Wanda Law at 244-9072 or email at boblawmemorial@gmail.com.
