POTSDAM -- The Editors of “Blueline Magazine” will host a 35th anniversary celebration for the magazine Friday, Nov. 7, at Between the Buns, 6 Elm St.

Tickets are $40 for an adult and $23 for students 21 and older only. The cost includes one drink and the full buffet dinner. Cocktail hour will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.

The evening’s entertainment will include readings by “Blueline” writers and then live music from the rock trio The John McNutt Band, from Philadelphia, PA.

A silent auction will welcome bids on fine glassware, gift baskets, and art by Nate Infante, the featured photographer in “Blueline” volume 34 2013.

“Blueline” a literary magazine dedicated to the spirit of the Adirondacks, is published annually by the Department of English and Communication at SUNY Potsdam. The magazine celebrates the region’s beauty and legacy by featuring poetry, fiction, and non-fiction from local and national writers. Each issue also publishes art and photography.

All proceeds raised will benefit “Blueline” and its subsidiary small press, “The Potsdam College Press,” as well as the “Blueline in the Schools” program, which enables SUNY Potsdam interns to publish their own student-centered magazines on campus.
