The church says they are hosting the service for those enduring hard times as the holidays approach.
Coping with the death of a loved one, facing your first holiday season after a recent divorce or loss of a job, living with chronic illness or pain, clinical depression or battling a disease such as cancer all make holiday parties and festivities painful, the church said.
