POTSDAM – There are three upcoming Red Cross blood drives scheduled in the region over the next few days.
The Potsdam High School Red Cross Club has filled 51 of 81 appointment slots for their drive Thursday, Feb. 16, from noon-6 p.m. in the Blue Gym at the high school. To sign up go to www.redcrossblood.org and enter “Sandstoner” to schedule an appointment or call 1-800-RED CROSS.
The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive Friday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Dobisky Visitor’s Center, 100 Riverside Ave., Ogdensburg.
And, finally, Canton-Potsdam Hospital will hold its next Red Cross Blood Drive Friday, Feb. 24, in the 2nd floor conference rooms A and B and classroom at 50 Leroy St., Potsdam, from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
All donors must be healthy, at least 16 years of age, and weigh at least 110 pounds. Consider a double red donation if you are 0 Neg, 0 Pos, A Neg, or B Neg.
Donors can pre-register using Rapid Pass (www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass). Pre-registration can only be completed the day of the drive prior to arrival.
