CANTON -- Rustic furniture-maker Fred Peryer of Parishville will teach children age 8 and up how to build a bluebird house Thursday, May 3, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.
Children will use hammers and nails to assemble wooden pieces into a birdhouse appropriate for bluebirds, swallows and some other birds.
Cost is $15 or $12 for TAUNY Friends and includes all materials. Registration is required in advance by calling 386-4289.
