MORLEY -- The Morley Library Association is hosting its fifth annual Biking for Books 50K bicycle ride on Saturday, June 16.
The course of the 31-mile jaunt, for all ages and abilities, is mostly flat with rolling hills through rural countryside..
It is not a race, but friendly competition is welcome. It will be timed for bragging rights only.
The registration fee is $25. T-shirts will guaranteed to those who register by June 2.
Registration can be done online by going to https://www.theclipjointpetgrooming.com/ and clicking on the Biking for Books tab at top right, or by mail with a check payable to Morley Library Association mailed to John Beaudette, 2242 County Rt. 14, Canton, NY 13617. You can also print and bring Waiver of Liability with you on the day of the ride.
Ride-day registration starts at 9 a.m. at the Morley Wesleyan Church, 7254 County Rd 27, Canton.
The ride starts there at 10 a.m. and returns there for the finish.
Door prizes will be awarded after the ride. All participants will be eligible for door prizes and must be present at time of drawing.
