CANTON -- Simple mechanical skills to prevent future heart-breaks will be the focus of Spring Bicycle Maintenance & Repair, the latest Resourceful Skills Workshop offered by the Local Living Venture April 21, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The workshop is presented by Jon Ignatowski, a graduate of St. Lawrence University and currently an assistant coach for Clarkon's XC and Nordic programs, in addition to being the Chairman of Canton's Complete Streets Committee. He previously operated a local bicycle repair business, Iggy’s Bike Works.
The workshop will take place in a largely outdoor setting. This is a hands-on workshop, so plan to bring your bike if you have one and any bike tools.
