Big crowd anticipated for wine, beer, food fest in Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Taste of the North Country Festival, formerly known as the Wine, Beer and Food Festival this weekend.

The event is scheduled for Friday, May 11, from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday, May 12 from noon-6 p.m. at the Lockwood Civic Center.

Vendors and artists registered to date are: Beauty by Debra; Bechaz Riverdale Cheese; Bella-Brooke Vineyard; Cosimano-Ferrari Olive Oil Company; Eye Candy; Flashy Legs; Lakeland Winery; My Corner Studio; Natural Nook; Paparazzi Gems for Gems for 5; Raymor Estate Cellars; RiverMyst Winery; Rocky Bottom Rustics; Thousand Island Winery; Three Brothers Wineries; Traveling Vineyard; US Borne Books & More and Zahler’s Maple Products.

The event typically draws more than 1,000 attendees.

Admission to the festival is $5 for adults and children under 12 are free. A discount admission of $4 is reserved for retired/active duty military and senior citizens.

The event will feature wine, beer, food, various vendors and artists, a 50/50 raffle, Market Basket Raffle and other activities.
