CANTON — A Bees & Beekeeping Discussion Group session will be held Wednesday, Oct. 25 in the Betty Evans Community Room, 80 East Main St.
The monthly event is hosted by the Local Living Venture (LLV) at 7 p.m.
The setting is casual and in an open format of sharing information and asking questions where all participants can share their knowledge or seek advice.
All novice to advanced levels of beekeepers are welcome to attend this free event, though small donations are appreciated for workshop creation.
A brief special presentation to be made at this event will focus on a possible honey cooperative and hobby-to-business opportunities for small-scale beekeepers in the region, as well as upcoming Pollinator Protection projects being coordinated by the Local Living Venture and the WISER Center at SUNY Potsdam.
