CANTON -- All levels of beekeeper are welcome to attend the Bees & Bee Keeping Discussion Group that meets on the last Wednesday of every month.
The next meeting schedule is set for 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 28 at the Betty Evans Community Room, in the new addition to the E.J. Noble Medical Bldg., 80 E. Main St. The focus for January is on setting up a group order for replacement bees to re-stock hives in the spring that do not survive the Winter months.
The gathering is a casual group setting where all are welcome to share their questions, successes and challenges in a friendly atmosphere. There will be plenty of information for new beekeepers interested in starting hives next Summer as well.
Now is the time to start planning for beekeeping next season. Info: www.LocalLivingVenture.org/content/welcome-bee-hive, LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com or 347-4223.
