CANTON -- The monthly gathering of the Bees & Beekeeping Discussion Group will be held Wednesday, March 28, at 7 p.m. the E.J. Noble Pollinator Garden, 80 East Main St.
This month, there will be a demonstration on how to install "packages" and "nuc's" of bees into empty beehives, to restock with a fresh bee colony for the Spring. A cooperative ordering program for bee colonies has an order deadline of March 30, and more information on that program will also be available.
Additionally, the upcoming Pollinator Partnership program will be discussed, where area residents are encouraged to commit a certain square footage of their garden or acreage of their property for pollinator-friendly plantings.
Anyone is welcome.
