Bassmaster Elite returns to Waddington July 20-23

WADDINGTON -- The 2017 BassMaster Elite Series tournament in Waddington July 20-23, a free family event, will have live music, fireworks, rides and games for kids, plus much more for the crowds expected to watch some of the top anglers in the country compete for cash prizes.

The top prize is $100,000.

Meanwhile the St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union has donated $5,000 to local tournament organizers in support of the 21 bands expected to entertain the crowd around the main stage.

Other attractions at Whitaker Park will be bass boat rides, a petting zoo, Giant Hawg Troughs Fishing Tank Show, a “Veil of the Nile” show, 100 vendors of assorted wares, and food, beer and wine slushies.
