RUSSELL -- The Back Country Band will perform "Country The Way It Used To Be" on May 2 at 7 p.m. at the Russell Theater.
The group will perform country hits from the 1950s through the 1990s. The band consists of Lin Conant on guitar, pedal steel guitar and vocals; Faron Parent on guitar, mandolin and vocals; Carter Houk on bass and vocals; Buster LaCombe on drums and vocals; and Don Woodcock on fiddle, keyboards and vocals.
There is no admission, but donations will be accepted. The funds will help pay to restore the theater. Light refreshments will be served, there will be a 50/50 raffle.
