CANTON -- “Back to the Basics of Fighting Hunger” will be shown on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3 1/2 East Main St., at 7 p.m.
The program, hosted by GardenShare, will begin with the view of two TED talks: “Bucket Brigades and the Fight Against Hunger” presented by author Joel Berg and “Why Food Policy is Worth Fighting For” presented by Congresswoman Chellie Pingree.
A panel discussion will follow with St. Lawrence County Commissioner of Social Services Christopher Rediehs and Potsdam Neighborhood Center Director Daisy Cox.
Berg will join the panel via Skype and GardenShare Executive Director Gloria McAdam will moderate.
Admission is free.
