The Woodsman's Boy is a novel that chronicles William Chadwick's journey from a life as a popular, wealthy schoolboy in London to a harsher existence with his father in remote pre-war Adirondacks. Books are on sale for 20 percent off through the day.
The open house includes refreshments and live music throughout day, as well as a chance to vote for your favorite gingerbread creation in TAUNY's annual Sugar and Spice gingerbread competition.
TAUNY's Holiday Showcase gives artists a chance to display and sell larger and more unusual works in addition to their usual work. Info: TAUNY.org.
