COLTON -- The Sunday Rock Legacy Project (SRLP) will host auditions for this summer’s musical “Working” Saturday, April 1, at 3 p.m. at the Old Colton Fire Station on Riverside Drive; and Sunday, April 2, at 3 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Chapel and Court streets, Canton.
The directors are seeking actors 16-80 years old, from all ethnic backgrounds.
Those auditioning should be prepared to sing 16 bars of any song (unaccompanied), read from a script provided at the audition, and perhaps mimic a demonstrated dance step or two.
The play is based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with American workers.
Performances of “Working” will be held July 20, 21, and 23.
Rehearsals start mid-May.
