BRASHER -- ATV enthusiasts will be celebrating the opening Saturday, July 8 of a designated route through Brasher Forest for ATVs on the St Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail.
The St. Lawrence County Trails Board will be hosting the event with the celebration ride starting 9 a.m. at the Parishville Fireman’s Field and will traverse the trail from Parishville through Hopkinton, Stockholm, Lawrence, Brasher, Brasher Forest and end in Helena at the ATV Parking Area at the Old Town of Brasher Highway Garage, 2971 County Rt. 55 in Helena.
Those not wanting to take part in the ride can meet at the ATV Area in Helena.
This newest segment of 13 miles runs through North Lawrence, Brasher, Brasher Forest and ends in Helena. The trail includes 8.7 miles of DEC maintained trails and roads in the Brasher State Forest.
