GOUVERNEUR -- Gouverneur High School will hold its Athletic Wall of Fame induction ceremony in the school's auditorium at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.
Five individuals and two teams will be inducted into the Wall of Fame and the ceremony is free and open to the public.
The individual inductees are Greg Langevin, Class of 1974, Jim Minckler, 1994, Brian Leonard, 2002, John Minckler, 2004, and Josh Denesha, 2006.
The 1988-89 Girls Varsity Basketball and 2001 Varsity Football teams will also be inducted.
After a standout high school football career at Gouverneur, Leonard attended Rutgers University and was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
After two seasons in St. Louis, Leonard spent four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals before shorter stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints.
The Wall of Fame inductees will also be introduced at halftime of the Homecoming football game between Gouverneur and Ogdensburg Saturday afternoon.
Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m. at Frank LaFalce Field.
