POTSDAM -- The North Country Children's Museum will present an astronomy workshop Nov. 21 from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the Clarkson University Bookstore, 39 Market St.
The workshop will be hands-on allowing kids to explore the wonders of the solar system and space. Students will learn about scale, the size of the solar system, size of the planets, and the composition of the planets. Students will make their own scale-model of the solar system.
Joshua Thomas, professor of physics and astronomy at Clarkson, runs the program.
The fee is $10 per person and walk-ins are welcome.
