Assemblywoman Russell on TV this week to speak about schools, women's issues

Assemblywoman Addie Russell will discuss education funding and the Women’s Equality Agenda on “North Country Matters,” the local video news magazine produced by WCKN-tv, cable channel 30,

Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. In the first show, Russell talks about challenges rural, poor public schools are facing with Ann Carvill, a former Potsdam Board of Education member, and Donna Seymour, both members of the St. Lawrence County Branch of the American Association of University Women.

In the second show, the newly appointed chair of the Assembly’s Task Force on Women’s Issues, speaks with Martha Stahl, from Planned Parenthood of the North Country, and Seymour.
