CANTON -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital hosts the next in the series of “Ask the Physician” events with Michael Chater, otolaryngologist, at the Blackbird Café, 107 Main St., Aug. 6 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.
Chater will speak on issues related to ear, nose, and throat maladies that can arise from a wide variety of factors, including seasonal allergies, sleep apnea, tinnitus, loss of sensory data, thyroid tumors, and dizziness.
“Our senses of smell, taste, and hearing are directly related to the health of our ears, nose, and throat, and all three are systemically interconnected,” Chater said.
“As an otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon, my job is to ensure that these three systems are working at peak efficiency and in tandem with one another.”
Admission is free and open to anyone, however seats are limited. A light summer dinner will be provided.
Contact Deborah Lauther at 261.5413, ordchaselauther@cphospital.org to reserve a seat.
