POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence County Arts Council will host their Art Market Saturday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St.

Local artists will display their original artwork and fine handcrafts for sale.

Customers can purchase locally handmade greeting cards, jewelry, pottery, and fiber art directly from artists including Angela Ballou, Virginia Burnett, Nancey Brackett, Sara Lynch, and Kathy Montan.

This is the third annual Art Market on Small Business Saturday offered by SLC Arts; artists apply to and are selected by SLC Arts.

Small Business Saturday is an annual nation-wide event; the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is coordinating small businesses in Potsdam for this event.

Customers who make a purchase can get a stamp in their "Small Business Holiday Passport" from the Chamber, then turn in their passport at the Chamber office to be entered into a drawing for prize packages.
