OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg artist Andrew R. Wright will present a talk entitled “Modern Illustrator” 2 p.m. May 11 in the Tiffany Room of the Frederic Remington Art Museum, 303 Washington St.
Wright's lecture will revolve around his path as an artist and influences, including many of Remington's nocturne paintings. The lecture explores Wright's influences from elementary school to his current professional career in editorial and gallery work. All sections of the talk merge into the central focus, which is Wright's philosophy of art and how he hopes his work may contribute to the rich history of image makers. The talk will last about one hour.
