Art therapy classes for those with special needs to be offered in Massena this spring

MASSENA -- Art classes for people with special needs will be offered once a month from January through May at the Community Center, 61 Beach St. from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Board-certified music therapist, Tracy Wanamaker, has been teaching music and art exploration workshops for teens and adults with special needs in Potsdam for several years and will now offer classes in Massena.

Classes will meet on Jan. 14, Feb. 11, March 11, April 8, and May 6.

Students may register for as many or as few classes in the series as they are available to attend. Classes are open to all teens and adults with special needs in the Massena area.

The price per class is $10 and scholarships are available based on financial need.
