CRANBERRY LAKE -- An art reception will honor longtime Cranberry Lake painter Jeannie Reynolds, along with showcasing works by 35 other local artists who depict scenes in and around the region.
There will be on opening reception at the Clifton Community Center Aug. 5 at 7:30 p.m. Her work will continue to be exhibited Aug. 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show will feature other works by 35 others including rug-hookers, quilters, painters and furniture-makers.
“[Reynolds] has painted the wild places in Cranberry Lake for over 60 years,” an event announcement reads. “Her body of work celebrates the beauty in the simple tree, landscape, loon, and shoreline. She has faithfully chronicled the wild places in Cranberry Lake for her whole career.”
