CANTON – Local antique owners will have the opportunity to bring items to be appraised by an expert at the upcoming program, “Appraisals with Ted Comstock,” Saturday, May 13, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at The TAUNY (Traditional Arts in Upstate New York) Center, 53 Main St.
The cost will be $5/item, up to a maximum of four items per person, unless time permits additional items to be considered.
Visitors will be assigned numbers on a first come, first served basis.
These will be verbal appraisals, not formal written ones.
This is a public event and all visitors will be able to observe appraisals throughout the day and to learn more about the history of objects brought to the event.
Comstock will donate all proceeds from the event to TAUNY to help further the organization’s work in cultural conservation.
