CANTON -- Vendor application is open for Adirondack Buyer Days North, an intimate artisan trade show, organized by the Adirondack North Country Association Inc., on Sept. 10, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Best Western.
Are you a maker in the Northern NY region who is interested in wholesaling? Maybe you've never wholesaled before or are looking to formalize your efforts. ANCA is offering extensive assistance to artisans leading up to the show for artisans to learn the ropes in a low-pressure setting.
This smaller show has a booth fee of less than $100 to allow artisans to test the waters with low risk.
Most retail buyers attending Buyer Days North come from small, independent gift and food stores, so there's no need to have a huge production capacity or inventory going in. However, ANCA does encourage vendors to provide cash and carry as an option to buyers during the show since this benefits vendors by providing an immediate revenue stream as well as buyers by offering shelf-ready stock free of shipping or delivery fees.
