MADRID -- The 35th Spring Exhibition, featuring antique gas and steam engines and a variety of family activities, will be held Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, June 11, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum, 1755 State Hwy 345.

This year’s event will feature classic garden tractors. An old iron auction will be held Saturday afternoon.

Other features include miniature horse, draft horse and tractor pulls; plowing and planting corn and pumpkins; tours of the antique tractor building, print shop in the collection building, carriage barn featuring the Harden Collection, 1850 one-room schoolhouse, 1850 log cabin reconstruction and other buildings.

There will also be sweets in the maple sugar house, vendors, early textile demonstrations, saw milling, members’ exhibits; farm animals at the barn and chicks in the chicken house, scarecrow making at the small granary, crafts, attic treasures, raffles and auctions, baked goods and scooped ice cream and breakfast from 7-10 a.m.

There will be live music by Pure Country Saturday, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Admission is $5; children younger than 12 are admitted free.
