MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority will hold the annual Wildlife Festival at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The free festival will feature exhibits with live animals, nature displays, arts, crafts, and entertainment.
World of Wildlife and Educational Encounters will return with a variety of exotic and endangered animals. Volunteers will provide educational shows at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. with interactive games.
Volunteers will answer questions about exotic and endangered animals.
Mary Benvenuto of Reptiles Forever will showcase a variety of insects and reptiles, including a python and a 50-pound turtle.
Wildlife expert Andrew Simmons will share adventures with a leopard, a black bear cub, Burmese pythons, and a Nile monitor at 1 p.m.
A petting zoo with farm animals, craft projects, wagon rides, chainsaw carving, birds of prey and movies will also be offered.
